The Thrill

As I stated previously I had my first paying job in I don't know how long, and my images are officially up on the site. No matter how long you have modeled it is still exciting to see your work posted somewhere. Then, when you tell people they are just flabbergasted like it wasn't possible to be that girl on that website. But someone has to do the cheesy commercial posing for the merchandise shots and get paid for it. They aren't the most edgy or crazy days but it's the paying jobs that keep you floating through this messed up world of modeling. You have to do the boring stuff to do the really cool things. And even though it is just posing, changing, posing, changing, the people that you work with make it fun and make you want to go back.
In Chicago, I constantly worked for a website doing pretty much the same thing and it was one of the jobs I had no problem doing. The team was fun and energetic and made you feel like you were one of them. Sometimes jobs are not that way and you are just the model that needs to look surprised and that is it. Those types of jobs I don't mind that they are in and out because I don't want to go back to a team that doesn't give two shits about you.
Recently, I have been shooting editorials for Faction Magazine, which you can see at Factionmagazine.blogspot.com. Here are some of the upcoming pics:

This is what I love about modeling. Work with fun, passionate people who make you want to keep going. And then people can brag that they know me :)
My family is one who loves to brag. I was in the Icing stores for a little while and one of my aunts in Chicago actually saw a large poster of me in the store and was like that's MY niece!! and then she convinced the store to actually give her one of the posters which was AWESOME!!! so yes, I actually do have a gigantic poster of my face in Christmas accessories for Icing. Normally, I am very humble person when it comes to telling people what I do or what I have been in, but those silly stories when people see me and say, "HEY, I know her!" That is what makes this job so fun. The thrill of having people randomly hit me up when they see my picture is always a wonderful feeling. It makes that person feel super special that they know someone who is doing something crazy like modeling which no one ever does. It keeps me in this business having people be excited for me. LOVE IT LOVE IT!
